Do you think that there is such a thing as a
HAPPILY EVER AFTER?
Are we conditioned to think that happily ever after exists, because this is the perfect ending for movies and books?
After looking deep within myself this is what I believe: I believe in LOVE!! I believe in all things beautiful!! I believe that before we can find our happily ever after, we need to find and own the happiness within...and I also believe that:

I definitely believe in love, and in happily ever after, but I don't think either of those things works the way they work in the movies, you know? Happily ever after shouldn't have to mean that you're *always* happy, all the time, without a pause. Happiness is more complicated than that, and love is definitely more complicated than that--interesting post! (By the way, I LOVE that picture!)

You won't know if there is a happily ever after until you get there.
A few thoughts on this:
Girls have a bigger problem with this than the guys. Maybe it's just the natural difference.
The wedding industry takes advantage of this ideal theme.
Believing this as a goal but leaving room for reality is probably better than giving up all hope.
Love is real but it doesn't just exist on it's own.
I rode a white stallion and dropped long stem roses at the lady's feet - in my dreams.
I am ALWAYS amazed at that the fabulous photos and quotes you come up with! Always inspiring.

I truly do believe in living happily ever after, but you have to work hard to achieve this happiness! It just isn't handed to you, you have to find your love, your job, whatever you want your happily ever after to be. If you don't find it, then you create it! ;)
I think happily ever after has to exist inside of yourself. I don't think you can depend on outside forces to make you happy. I love love, too and because of that I think it's never been hard for me to find love.
Yes, happily every after is very once upon a time.
The reality is, everyone has ups and downs in life.

I sometimes toss such questions around. I'm having an internal battle, because I'm a self-professed romantic but also a realist (I tend to wonder if both sides can exist within me at the same time).
I do believe that things can end 'happily ever after', but as others have said it's not as it is in fairy tales and movies. While it may not come as eaily or be as glamorous, love can and does last. And while not always accompanied by butterflies and rainbows, it is every bit as beautiful.

Yes it does exist Darling but on this happily ever after we must work very hard but the reward is sweet and beautiful!
I believe i love and I believe in happiness, but the whole "happily ever after" things makes it sound like it's so easy. I believe that maintaining a strong, healthy relationship is hard work and that you get out of it what you put in. I believe that love can be forever, if you maintain a strong sense of self, while constantly compromising to accommodate your significant other. Great post!
