Summer and warm weather are short lived in our neck of the woods. We had a late start to summer this year, with unseasonably cool temperatures. The hubster and I are determined to make the most of the rest of summer!! Today we are going to shake things up, Grill some surf and turf for dinner and enjoy Frozen Margarita's. "After all Thursday Is The New Friday"!!
When it comes to Margarita's, I have had many fabulous renditions, however I prefer the ready to serve 'Jose Cuervo Golden Margarita, with Grand Marnier'. You can find this premixed concoction in the Liquor aisle, usually next to the Jose Cuervo Tequila.
This premixed Margarita can be served on ice, shaken with ice and served in a chilled glass, or poured into a blender with ice to make a Fabulous Frozen Margarita!
Here is what you will need to prepare your glass for this liquid fun:
- Cocktail Glass
- Coarse Salt
- Lime Wedge
- Slice of lime
Wa-la...Enjoy!

i am all for thurs being the new fri. we also had a slow start to our summer (entire month of june as rainy and cool) and now it is almost over. no fair.

Thanks for visiting my blog. You know I've always had that attitude in thinking Thursday is the new Friday. I love Thursdays because the next day is Friday.
Even though I would never pass up a margarita I'm more of a sweet and fruity drinker. Today is my last day of summer vacation so for sure I need to have myself a drink.

I love that Thursday is the new Friday and I love that you had this special meal : ) Isn't it fun to shake things up a bit? I don't drink, but when I see pretty glasses like that with cold liquid, it almost makes me want to : )
