Overview: A clever, tantalizing absorbing work of social satire by Tonya Lewis Lee and Crystal McCrary Anthony, who guide you through a world of luxury, class, style and extravagance with an incredible view of Manhattan. From the bedroom to the boardroom, to the art world, to the philanthropic jet set, to the hottest spots, this heartfelt, entertaining story explores seduction, scandal, excess, betrayal, desire, dreams and deception through one of-a-kind characters.
"A richly absorbing Tale of Manhattan's upper crust packed with sex, lies and backstabbing", says E. Lynn Harris
I rate this book 3 1/2 stars; in my opinion it is a well thought out and fabulously written book, that kept me intrigued from start to finish. Just when I thought I knew how the story would end, it had a surprising twist. To read more about this book and the authors visit

My Horizontal Life by Chelsea Handler. Or really anything written by her :)
Well that book sounds great! I don't seem to have much time for pleasure reading at the moment, but that will all change soon enough! Once I can keep my eyes open long enough, I'll give this a push on my book list. Thanks! x
I feel so ashamed that I don't read much... not in the past four years. I would love to grab a new book and get started now- I've got a long list of recommendation from friends already!
Have a great day! Thank you very much for following my Life in Mac blog!
It sounds great, I'm always looking for recommendations, so thanks!
I read a good one recently but heck if I can't remember it; I'll come back with the title once my memory clicks back into place!

Oooh sounds good.
I am currently reading "Handle with Care" by Jodi Picoult - I love her books.
Have just finished for our bookclub "The Slap" by Christos Tsiolkas a contemporary Australian novelist. Its about a man who slaps a child who is not his own at a backyard BBQ and how it effects the group of people who attended. Very provocative - definately gets you talking.
Thanks for the recommendation.
I just read the Kite Runner by Houseeini Khaled and a Thousand SPlendid Suns by the same author and are both a fab read...will check out yours! thanks
I just finished "The Time Travelers Wife" and "The Secret Life of Bees" Both great books. Thanks so much for the post. I have been looking for my next read :D
I just finished "Educating Esme," a diary of a first year teacher in an inner city school. I received it to do a review which is coming soon. But, the short and long of it is that I loved it even when she was sharing an ugly truth about a situation.
:::visits from SITS:::

Never saw this one and I must admit, I was an avid reader until I had kids. Now, it's either pick up a good book or blog...and I'm choosing the latter! :)
I love to read. Reading is a must for me every day, it's part of my daily routine. Right now I am reading "Writing Down the Bones - Freeing the Writer Within" by Natalie Goldberg. It's a classic on writing memoir.
