Serenity

Where do you find serenity? What is serenity??Do you have a special day to call your own? Do you make time to enjoy life's free pleasures?
According to an online dictionary, serenity is to be calm, peaceful, or tranquil. Sundays are my days of serenity, the hubby and I spend our Sunday Mornings enjoying the Sunday paper and Coffee. We also enjoy a fabulous breakfast or brunch with the kiddies. These are just a few of life's free pleasures...to be in the company of the ones you love.

Sundays are timeless!! There was a time in my life that I would try to get in all my chores and shopping done on Sundays; by the end of the day I was irritated and physically, some times also emotionally drained. I learned that in order to make Sundays my day of serenity I needed to preplan. I start by creating an comfortable environment. Preplan our meals for this day and most importantly I make an effort to not plan events or commit to attending events planned for Sundays.
What will you be doing on this Serene Sunday?? What ever you should decide, be sure to take time and smell the Roses!

I was like you before, used to try to cram everything I needed to get done around the house on the weekends. Now, I plan for a little pampering on Saturday, at least one thing just for me and on Sundays - a day of rest. Totally changed my life! Enjoy your serene Sunday!

You are so right on this one... I was so tired this morning I could barely get out of bed, so I decided to take it easy today... just a quick shopping stop, and leisurely late lunch with my best friend, a nap in the afternoon, and a mellow evening. It was wonderful. I also love the clock !

Sundays I usually stay in and relax with the fam, heh. It's a cute time. Enjoy a delish breakfast, and then a lavish lunch, laze around, talk about life, love and just about anything and everything under the sun. Heh, I loveee Sundays. :)

I definitely prefer Sunday to be a day of relaxing. That's become a wee bit more difficult since the dude was born. Ah ha

I love Sundays too! I spent my Sunday helping out my future-in-laws with some house projects, but I'm normally relaxing on Sunday and getting geared up for the week.

Ok, I'm late to the party but I gotta say that I am the most serene when I am at the beach sith my dog. Poor Touristy peeps are wondering 'what's with the crazy lady w/the huge goofy grin?" I can't help it. Sand between my toes, dolphins in the surf and my Catahoula dog to keep my comapny. Bliss.

Sundays used to be 'serene' before I had kids. Now every day is crazy!! :D Maybe I should try to calm things down this Sunday.
