Your HOT

Embarrassing, yet a bit funny when your neighbor comes to tell you, your seven year old son and six year old nephew were whistling at her through the window last week! My son yelled out his window to the neighbor, "Hey Cassie, my cousin thinks your HOT"! My nephew, quick to his defense said loud enough for the neighbor to hear "I didn't say that, you did".

They both ducked out of sight and peeked through the window enough to send catcalling whistles to my neighbor. She told the boys, I can still see you, they both ducked and giggled.

This morning at breakfast, I asked my son, what the comment and whistling was all about??

Mom: Were you whistling at Cassie last week?
Son: I can't remember...
Mom: Did you yell out your window, your cousin thinks she is hot?
Son(with a shit eat'n grin) Yes....
Mom: What do you know about being hot??
Son: (no response, look of a deer in headlights...busted!)

And so it begins, my son's admiration for women. Well, actually I think it began few years ago, when my son was five. He was outside playing with the girl from next door, when she bent over to grab a toy, my son took it upon himself to spank her booty! The mother caught him and said "We don't hit". My son's quick response was "She had a bug on her butt"!

For the record, these are not behaviors he learns at home, his father is a gentleman and does not catcall whistle for me or smack my butt (well, not in front of the kids).

I think my son has a thing for blondes, both the girls in this story are blonde hotties who's names have been changed to protect the innocent.

My girls know what 'hawt' is... I wish they learned it from their dad and his constant cat calls to mommy....but no, they got it from the Disney channel.

I can sympathize with you. My son stood in our living room with a rool full of people to shout at the top of his lungs that "I LOVE BOOBIES!!" I was mortified and wondered where in the world that came from. Looking back now, we laugh about it, but come on....

Stopping by from SITS!

Yeah...when my son was 5 he told me long curly hair and high heels make a woman sexy. I'm not sure why he brought it up. Maybe because I was planning to wear yoga pants and tennis shoes to his school??
