Apple Of My Eye

When it comes to terms of endearment...how do you find the perfect name to call your special someone, the apple of your eye...your sugar, your love your everything?

I was recently asked this question by a Sassy Reader who is in the infant stages of an intense romance. She is looking for the perfect name for her sexy male mate

Our Sassy reader says, there are many names and terms of endearment out there for women; honey, baby, sugar, darling, mama, sweetheart, but when it comes to the perfect name for a sexy man, where do we get terms of endearment from?
In the past I have used the following terms of endearment; Honey, Babe, Sweetie, Lovah, Papi Chulo(Gorgeous Daddy)...just to name a few.
So here is the question of the day, what terms of endearment have you used or would you use for that special someone, your suga, your love, your everything??

I guess it's nice to do that but my wife and I never got into that. It depends on the person. "Hunk-a-hunk of burning love" is a good one.

How about pumski - don't know if you had heard that the first Lady calls the prez that one. I just discovered it last week.

Better than a name are words of encouragement while you are engaged in your horizontal bedtime activity. Very simple one syllable words whispered at the right moment work wonders.

Alicia-I had an ex-boss, who use to call me hunny bunny, until one of the other guys informed him it was inappropriate. Small confession I really didnt mind.

i go with good ole "baby" I used to use babe, but my dad calls everyone babe, even all the girls on my sister's softball team, he yells "ALL RIGHT BABE, YOU CAN DO IT!" and my sister is not up to bat. but all the other parents picked up on it too. "GO BABE!" or "ALRIGHT BABE!" babe was scratched from my endearment list that day. it was weird to me.

Jennee-WELCOME, love the random nickname, think it is oh so FABULOUS and unique!

Mary-I also love calling my special someone baby...its so sweet!! Yea if my dad called everyone babe it would ruin it for me too..

Love this question. Have always wondered that. I made up my own name for him..it's kinda weird, but that's why i like it, cuz it has an element to humour to it. "Bubloo", cuz he looks like a bubble and cuz in old bollywood movies every kid was named Bubloo.

Stopping by from SITS!

I love this question. I call my hubby "Babers". I don't know why, I came up with it one lazy Saturday morning when we still still just dating. You know, those halcyon days of newfound love? The name stuck, I guess. Now, he uses it for me, too. Soooo cheesy.

I have never been "fancy" about what I call my guy - babe or honey will usually do - but I have been called pumpkin and bunny in past relationships and hated them!
